Syracuse University’s chapter of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority has been put on investigative status, according to the chapter status page on SU’s Fraternity and Sorority Affairs website.

Sarah Scalese, SU’s senior associate vice president for university communications, confirmed in an email statement to The Daily Orange on Monday that the sorority has been put on investigative status for alleged violations of SU’s Code of Student Conduct.

“While under investigation, the chapter must halt all activities. We cannot share additional information while this is being actively investigated,” Scalese said in the email.

This post will be updated with additional reporting.
