Pride Pumpkin Carving With the Barnes Center at The Arch
Round out the last of LGBTQ+ History Month celebrations and relax from the stress of midterm season with the Barnes Center at The Arch and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center. There will be pumpkin carving and painting to celebrate the end of LGBTQ+ History Month.
When: Tuesday from 4 to 5 p.m.
Where: Barnes Center, Room 308

Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead)
Celebrate Día de Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, and learn more about Mexican/Latine cultural traditions with the Department of Language, Literatures and Linguistics. There will be a community altar, a mini art workshop, music, games and catrinas/catrines, which is the traditional dress and makeup associated with the holiday.
When: Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Lobby of Huntington Beard Crouse Hall

Snaps & Taps Open Mic Night
Join the Community Folk Art Center for an evening of open microphone talent and performances. Exhibit your skills with slam poetry, music and comedy, or watch to appreciate others’ talents.
When: Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Black Box Theater in the Community Folk Art Center

Haunted Crouse Concert
Wear your best spooky costume on Halloween Eve at the Haunted Crouse Concert. Various artists and performances will give attendees all the Halloween vibes with eerie, ghostly songs.
When: Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 p.m.
Where: Setnor Auditorium in Crouse College



Trick or Treat & Craft at the Museum
Come in costume to celebrate Halloween night and make cute or spooky ghost portraits with the Syracuse University Art Museum. Egg cartons, cardboard, glue and paint will be available for crafting. Get your photo taken and grab some candy before you head out for the rest of your scary evening.
When: Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
Where: SU Art Museum

Orange After Dark: Halloween Dance Party
Spend Halloween night doing the Monster Mash at Orange After Dark’s Halloween Dance Party. Come in costume for a chance to win the costume contest and other prizes. There will be dancing to Halloween music and free food for students. Bring your SUID and RSVP here.
When: Thursday from 10 p.m. to midnight
Where: The Underground at Schine Student Center
