Following the recitation, which lasted about 15 minutes, attendees listened to musical performances and prayers before lighting candles to honor those killed in the attack and subsequent crash.

Remembrance Scholars sit silently during the annual “Sitting in Solidarity” ceremony on Shaw Quadrangle. The Wednesday afternoon ceremony lasted 35 minutes to reflect the 35 SU students who died in the bombing.

All throughout Remembrance Week, blue lights shone on various buildings across campus. The JMA Wireless Dome, Hall of Languages and Hendricks Chapel were lit to honor the bombing’s victims.
