Update: The Syracuse Police Department has obtained footage of Allan Gonzalez falling into Onondaga Creek.

The Syracuse Police Department believes missing Syracuse University student Allan Gonzalez fell into Onondaga Creek, a family member said Saturday night.

Gonzalez, a senior in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, was last seen in the city of Syracuse on Jan. 18. The Syracuse Police Department is leading a missing person’s investigation into Gonzalez’s disappearance.

SPD found a baseball cap Saturday that Gonzalez was wearing the night of his disappearance, said Karla Leon, one of Gonzalez’s cousins.

The cap was found on Walton Street, near Armory Square in downtown Syracuse, Leon said. Onondaga Creek flows parallel to Armory Square. SPD detectives obtained footage of Gonzalez at Benjamin’s on Franklin, a neighborhood bar, the night of his disappearance.
