The women's basketball team will play No. 14 Fordham in the first round of the tournament while the men's team will play No. 9 Baylor
On Sunday during the NCAA Tournament selection show, the Syracuse (20-13. 10-8 Atlantic Coast) men’s basketball team was revealed to be an eight seed. SU will face No. 9 Baylor on Thursday night in Salt Lake City.
The women’s basketball team(24-8, 11-5) learned its fate on Monday night. The Orange received a No. 3 seed, the highest in program history. They will play No. 14 Fordham in the Carrier Dome on Saturday.
