One week after falling short against No. 25 Louisiana State on the road, the Orange (2-3, 0-1 Atlantic Coast) headed south to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a match up with North Carolina State (4-1, 2-0). Coming off an upset of then-No. 12 Florida State, the Wolfpack’s dominant front seven shone as Syracuse’s offense struggled to gain momentum until it was too late.
